The Flood Warning continues for
the little Missouri River near Boughton.
* Until Wednesday afternoon... or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 7:00 am Saturday the stage was 22.2 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 20.0 feet.
* Forecast... the river is cresting and will begin a slow fall... however
additional heavy rain is forecast today so please monitor future
forecasts for any updates.
* Impacts at 22.0 feet... lower lying County roads in northern Nevada
County may be affected. Water approaching State Highway 53 near
Whelen Springs. Deer camps may be cut off by high water.

... Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through this evening
for southeast Oklahoma, southwest and south central Arkansas, much
of east and northeast Texas, and adjacent northwest Louisiana...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* portions of Arkansas, northwest Louisiana, southeast Oklahoma,
and northeast Texas, including the following areas, in
Arkansas, Columbia, Hempstead, Howard, Lafayette, Little
River, Miller, Nevada, Sevier, and Union. In northwest
Louisiana, Bossier, Caddo, Claiborne, and Webster. In
southeast Oklahoma, McCurtain. In northeast Texas, Bowie,
Camp, Cass, Franklin, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Morris, Red
River, Smith, Titus, Upshur, and wood.

* Through this evening

* periods of moderate to heavy rainfall with storms repeatedly
moving over the same areas that recently received amounts from
near four to near eight inches. This will result in rapid water
runoff due to the nearly saturated soils and high water levels
for area rivers, creeks and bayous, resulting in flash flooding
and flooding.

* Flash flooding of roads, low lying, and poor drainage areas
will be possible. If you encounter flash flooding while
driving your vehicle, remember to turn around, don't drown.


Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.
Be prepared to take action should flash flood warnings be issued.

... Lake Wind Advisory remains will be in effect from 9 am until
6 PM CST this evening for east and northeast Texas, much of
southwest and south central Arkansas, and northwest and north
central Louisiana...

* event... southerly winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts to near 30 mph.

* Timing... Saturday morning through Saturday evening.

* Impact... a rough chop on area lakes will create hazardous
boating conditions.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A lake Wind Advisory indicates that winds will cause rough chop
on area lakes. Small boats will be especially prone to taking on
water and capsizing.
