... A Severe Thunderstorm Warning remains in effect until 1245 am MDT
for northeastern valley... western Roosevelt and southwestern Daniels
counties...

At 1212 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing damaging
winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line
extending from 23 miles west of port of Opheim to 11 miles southwest
of Glentana to 11 miles west of Lustre... or along a line extending
from 27 miles northwest of Opheim to 11 miles south of Opheim to 26
miles northeast of Glasgow... and moving east at 25 mph.

Locations in the warning include...
Larslan... Opheim... Glentana... Lustre... port of Opheim... West Fork...
volt and Richland

for Eastern Valley... southwestern Roosevelt... northwestern prairie...
McCone and eastern Garfield counties...

At 1206 am MDT... National Weather Service Doppler radar continued to
indicate a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing quarter
size hail... and damaging winds in excess of 60 mph. These storms
were located along a line extending from Frazer to 12 miles northeast
of flowing Wells rest area to 9 miles south of Crow Rock... or along a
line extending from 15 miles west of Wolf Point to 17 miles west of
Circle to 37 miles west of Terry... and moving east at 35 mph.

Locations in the warning include...
Brockway... Wolf Point... Circle... Vida and McCloud

... Lake Wind Advisory now in effect until 4 am MDT Thursday for
Fort Peck Lake...

The lake Wind Advisory for Fort Peck Lake is now in effect until
4 am MDT Thursday.

* Timing... gusty southeast winds will shift west by midnight and
continue into the early morning hours.

* Winds... southeast at 20 to 30 mph... with gusts as high as 40
mph shifting west.

* Impacts... gusty winds will make the open waters of the lake
rough and hazardous... and may result in high waves which may
tip and swamp small craft.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Boaters should use extreme caution if venturing onto Fort Peck
Lake. For personal safety... avoid the open waters and stay close
to shore or near and around protected areas.
