* At 0915 PM Tuesday the stage was 13.6 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Forecast... the creek is expected to continue to a slow fall within
minor flood stage.
* At 12.0 feet... minor lowland flooding begins as widespread
inundation of the flood plain occurs primarily impacting
agricultural interests. Backwater flooding up dry and sand creeks
in Burleson County is likely.

... Significant weather advisory for northern Burleson... western
Madison... Brazos and northwestern Grimes counties until 245 am CDT...

At 158 am CDT... Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 13 miles northeast of
Franklin to near Hearne to near Cameron... and moving southeast at 30
mph.

Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.

Locations impacted include...
northern College Station... Bryan... Caldwell... Kurten... Wixon
Valley... Kyle field... Iola... Chriesman and North Zulch.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms... and may
lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
