... Record daily maximum precipitation set at Riverton WY...

A large upper level disturbance brought widespread rain... and even
some snow... across the cowboy state yesterday. A record
precipitation of 0.31 inches was set at Riverton WY yesterday. This
breaks the old record of 0.27 set in 1999. Note the precipitation
records for the Riverton Airport site only date back to 1995.
